Well I blinked and now it’s October . I’ll admit September was a bit of a crazy month. My son got Covid and strep throat (at the same time). He is completely fine now and back at school, but having a sick kid at home for 2 weeks does shake things up a bit.

I did get to have some fun and surprised my dad for his 70th birthday . It was a great weekend filled with some awesome food and wine. My dad’s friend is quite the foodie and cooked some awesome meals. I’ll share a few pictures in my stories today. My brother (who is a sommelier) paired all our meals with wine which was a special treat. I know NOTHING about wine but I always like his choices. PLUS we celebrated my husbands birthday with our best friends at a wine and dinner event at @bluemontvineyard.

Work was also fun – I was able to get exterior photos for 2 listings coming on the market in the winter, 1 buyer under contract, and another closed on their new home in Leesburg.

The old saying “the days are long but the years are short” is so very true.
